Current Research
I am now pursuing precious metal ores in various geologic setting; especially gold in island arc-
related ores (volcanogenic massive sulfide deposits and Au-quartz veins in island arc granitoids
and volcanics). I am also studying the rare earth elements (REE) in metamorphic minerals from
metapelites as a potential source of these strategic metals.
I am applying various analytical techniques like electron microrobe, and laser ablation (LA-ICP-
MS).
